Melanie grew up in Vermont and attended Castleton University, graduating in 2004 with a major in bachelor Arts and a concentration in painting art history. Melanie started her business in 2007, after exploring options for life and direction, she decided her love for Jewelry was worth taking full time. Her passion and dream became a reality! Melanie told me,
My faithful customers make me want to keep going and create new pieces.
She believes her beautiful jewelry sells itself, as well as the wide variety of price points for all budgets. She can sell to 15 year olds, or 85 year olds! She enjoys taking her jewelry to various festivals and events, including the maple festival in Highland County. Her favorite of all pieces she has is her tree of life.
I really enjoyed chatting with Melanie on her family farm. Her dog greeted me (as well as other farm animals) as I arrived! She gave me a tour of her simply beautiful farmhouse, telling me the history and past generations that also called this house a home. I loved hearing about how she self taught to build jewelry from others, trial and error and online instructional videos. She really has created a beautiful entity that she can share with the community! Enjoy a few favorites from our time together!
